Kuala Lumpur, 18 July 2025 — The Perak Islamic Religious Council and Malay Customs (MAIPk) conducted a visit to the Ronald McDonald House (RMHC) at Hospital Tunku Azizah, Kuala Lumpur, to obtain insights into the establishment, operations, and management concept of family accommodation facilities for patients, particularly children undergoing treatment at the hospital.The visit also opened avenues towards the development of strategic collaboration between MAIPk and RMHC, in line with MAIPk’s aspiration to develop a Musafir Guesthouse near hospitals to serve the needs of travelers, patients’ family members, and the general public.The MAIPk delegation, led by the General Manager of the Waqf Division, Norfazilah binti Bawadi, was warmly received by the General Manager of RMHC Malaysia, Mohd Nasri Mohd Nordin, along with the Manager of the Ronald McDonald House at Hospital Tunku Azizah, Siti Fikriah Wan Ismail.It is hoped that this visit will serve as a starting point for the implementation of more inclusive and high-impact waqf projects for the benefit of the ummah.
