AYER TAWAR, 6 MAY – The Perak Islamic Religious and Malay Customs Council (MAIPk) held a cheque presentation ceremony for the Wakaf Perak Al Ridzuan (WAPAR) fund to Masjid Al-Aqsa, Kampung Sungai Ramai, and Masjid Al-Hidayah, Seri Manjung.
The ceremony began with a tazkirah (religious talk) on waqf and the WAPAR fund, delivered by Ustaz Mohammed Tasyreef bin Mohamad Tarmizi, Assistant Manager of the Ummah Development Unit, MAIPk. This was followed by a speech by MAIPk Chief Executive Officer, Dr. Amiruddin bin Muhamed, who then officiated the presentation of a cheque amounting to RM100,000 to Masjid Al-Aqsa and RM20,000 to Masjid Al-Hidayah.
This meaningful event was also attended by Encik Zul Azri bin Hosaini, Manager of the Ummah Development Unit, MAIPk, along with MAIPk officers and mosque congregants.
