KUALA KANGSAR – The Perak Islamic Religious and Malay Customs Council (MAIPk) held a Cheque Presentation Ceremony for the Wakaf Perak Al Ridzuan (WAPAR) Fund to Masjid Ar-Rahmah, Kampung Bendang Kering.
This meaningful event was graced by the presence of Orang Besar Jajahan Kuala Kangsar, Y.A. Bhg. Dato’ Seri Haji Wan Fadzir bin Haji Wan Hussain, MAIPk Chief Executive Officer, Dr. Amiruddin bin Muhamed, and the Kuala Kangsar District Officer, Tuan Haji Mior Mohamad Jamil bin Mior Zakaria.
The ceremony began with an introduction on waqf and the WAPAR fund, delivered by Encik Suhaimi bin Yusoff, Baitulmal Manager of Kuala Kangsar District. It was followed by a speech from Y.A. Bhg. Orang Besar Jajahan Kuala Kangsar, who then officiated the presentation of a cheque amounting to RM100,000 to Masjid Ar-Rahmah.
Also present were Encik Zul Azri bin Hosaini, Manager of the Ummah Development Unit, MAIPk, along with MAIPk officers and mosque congregants.
